This 1991 WWF PPV, incorrectly labeled “Tuesday Night in Texas”, was recorded from the live broadcast of the event. Having no case is an easy fix, and the incorrect title, well that is going to remain the way it was found. I also enjoy the warning: “Caution: This video cassette tape cannot be used upside down”.
The event was actually called “This Tuesday in Texas” and took place on December 3rd, 1991. This was only five days after that year’s Survivor Series. While the attempt to hold regular Pay-Per-Views ended up not being attempted again until 2004, the show was overall a solid card that featured The Undertaker defending his newly won World Heavyweight Championship in a bout against Hulk Hogan in the main event. The match ended with interference from Ric Flair, and while it was great to see him appear on the televised card, it would have been a much appreciated had they also televised his bout with Rowdy Roddy Piper earlier in evening. It’s cool that they had Greg Valentine taking on the Brooklyn Brawler as a dark match, but both Piper and Flair should have been featured on the main show. Other bouts included Bret Hart vs. Skinner, Randy Savage vs. Jake Roberts, Davey Boy Smith vs. The Warlord and a tag match of Ted DiBiase & Barry Darsow as Repo Man vs. Virgil and Tito Santana as El Matador.
